HTML Skills transfer

Due to the fact that only 147 out of 283 municipalities in South Africa have functional websites. Since municipalities have budget constraints, ISSA in conjunction with the Presidential National Commission on Information Society and Development (PNC on ISAD), created a training program and training manuals to help skill staff in municipalities to create and update their own websites. These training manuals include examples and exercises covering all the basics of HTML

The objective is to provide training in:

• Text Formatting and Information uploading
• Website design and updating
• The structure and layout of a website, using images and creating links
• Government content management policy and procedures
